Becky Tun Pe. Martial Artist, Warrior. Echo focuses on an individuals journey through trauma. In 2022 Becky suffered a double fracture spinal injury whilst training, her body shattered, her mind splintered. We explored the emotive journey of recovery Becky has been on since and have championed her indefatigable mindset. A warrior both in the exterior and interior, a champion stripping herself of the echos of self doubt and pain. A true honour to be in the presence of someone so strong and so humble.
With each of my Craft of Movement series we always want to elevate, go bigger and bolder. Having the backing and collaboration of Fresh Base Productions on this from day one was essential to creating a piece we are truly proud of. We assembled a team of innovators and grafters to shoot across two days (one on location and one in studio) to collaborate and encourage creativity. A huge outpouring of what can be achieved when like minded individuals come together and go for it. A big thank you to the team both on set and in post production, each of you had a massive influence and I felt lucky to have you on board.
